Hi Cathy, our little granddaughter has been ill in hospital and was refusing to eat or drink. The doctor said she would need a feeding tube but remembering the advice in your book Happy Kids I explained the situation to her and what would happen if she didn’t start eating and drinking. It took a bit of talking calmly but it worked. Thanks, Cathy, this was a huge breakthrough for our little granddaughter. Love to you and your family.

I have tried your techniques with my grandson and they worked. He has been taken off the behavioural list at school by his teacher. It is amazing how talking to him and explaining can work. I have also used the closed choice with him at home. I thank you for this.
