I hadn’t expected to see Edward again after my visit to Patsy just before Christmas, but the following year there was a big fostering and adoption party. Edward, eleven months old was there with his parents. They are truly a lovely couple and are committed to keeping the memory of Edward’s birth family alive for him. Snuggles is safe in his memory box which also includes his first baby photos and outfit – given to them by Patsy. They have said that if he ever wants to trace Faye when he was older they will help and support him, which is lovely. Edward of course was absolutely gorgeous. Healthy and very alert.
Faye is still living with her grandparents. She is an amazing lady, so selfless, and an example to us all. She has some recent photographs of Edward forwarded to her by the social services.
