Nine months later I visited Olivia, Eva and Teresa again. They made me as welcome as ever. Olivia was at the front door when I arrived and said, ‘Hello Cathy,’ as if she remembered me. I don’t know if that had come from Eva and Teresa or if she really had remembered me. I stayed for lunch and she sat by me and chatted away. She is a delightful child who will start school in September.
Eva hasn’t heard from Lily at all and neither have I. I tried to phone her but the number was unobtainable. I assume she lost that phone. Lily had a traumatic early life but I think she is happy now with Clem. I will post on here if I hear anything further.
